Children do not need a diagnosis to come to Kaleidoscope school.

At Kaleidoscope School, all children have access to a broad, balanced, relevant, and holistic education, which supports and challenges them appropriately. Through careful planning, work is sequenced towards supporting children to gain confidence in the knowledge they acquire and progress to the next stage of learning, meeting the individual needs of each pupil.

Staff at Kaleidoscope support pupils to develop a positive attitude to learning through the creation of a consistently safe, nurturing, playful environment, where they feel valued and supported to learn and challenge themselves. This includes opportunities to experience a sense of personal achievement in each school day.

Kaleidoscope School has been created to provide a environment in which children’s individual needs are not only recognised but differences are celebrated. We are proud to be an inclusive environment in which every child can thrive.

We believe in all the children in our care and strive to give them the best we can to ensure they can live the most fulfilled and happy life. We use a holistic and therapeutic approach to learning and make sure we are trauma aware at every point.

At Kaleidoscope, we make sure children's voices are heard and ensure they are able to contribute to school life through a child-centered approach that values the individual.

We are happy to discuss our individualised child-centered approach to learning should you have any questions.

For 10 years the team provided support and engagement services to the Virtual School in Stoke-on-Trent.

When the previous provider could not continue, Jo and Rebecca created Beechfield to continue with this work.

Our contract with the Local Authority came to its natural end in December 2021. Beechfield retained its current team to direct their knowledge and skills towards much needed provision within our local area.
